ACER opens new consultation on co-optimisation in methodology of electricity price coupling algorithm

The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) will conduct a new public consultation, from 27 May to 19 June, to gather the views of stakeholders on the modified methodology for the electricity price coupling algorithm and the continuous trading matching algorithm, it said on 30 April.

In November 2023, the Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) proposed changes to ACER’s 2020 methodology for these algorithms.
