24/04/2024 (Agence Europe) – MEPs approved, on Wednesday 24 April, the provisional agreement on the regulation establishing the Internal Market Emergency and Resilience Act (‘IMERA’), previously known as ‘SMEI’ (see EUROPE B13341A10). It is intended to remedy the disruptions that can occur in the single market in the event of crises such as Covid-19.
