Commission refers Greece to EU Court of Justice for incorrect application of EU rules on late payments

24/04/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 24 April, the European Commission decided to refer Greece to the Court of Justice of the European Union for not correctly applying the rules under the Late Payment Directive (Directive 2011/7/EU). It accuses Greek public hospitals of incorrect payment practices towards their suppliers.
